Julia Roberts Planning and Innovation Director, RTA Julia Roberts recently joined the Regional Transit Authority of Southeast Michigan (RTA) bringing a wealth of knowledge and expertise for her role directing innovative plans and pilots while managing grant programming. With skills in developing productive agency transformations and implementing equitable projects, her visionary approach pairs well at the nexus of technological innovation and public transit. Leading as the prior Executive Director for Western-Washtenaw Area Value Express (WAVE) as well as founder and CEO of WoMobility consulting, further solidifies her standing as a driving force in the industry. She cultivates inclusive shared transportation in Michigan and beyond. Her experience includes gigs in innovation, labor union reform, and community organizing, before trailblazing a career in shared transportation.
