With over 20 years in the automotive industry, Tarek is committed to achieving zero emissions and sustainable mobility.
He joined Faurecia in 2022 as Hydrogen Storage Systems Chief Engineer, part of the Zero Emissions team in FORVIA Clean Mobility.
Prior to this role, Tarek held various positions at Stellantis (formerly FCA and Chrysler Group LLC), with broad experience in the full spectrum of product R&D, Innovation, product development and manufacturing, and true cradle-to-grave product development.
As Chief Engineer, Tarek leads Faurecia’s zero emissions engineering activities in North America. With extensive experience in product research, government collaboration, contract development, and IP development, Tarek is a key enabler of FORVIA’s zero emissions journey and supports all acceleration activities to become a fuel cell system leader in North America.
He holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Waterloo.
